The court has again given a jolt to SP leader Azam Khan in another case of Dungarpur Basti case of Rampur. While hearing the case on Wednesday, the court has declared him guilty in this case. The sentence will be pronounced today.
In 2019, people living in Dungarpur had filed 12 separate cases against SP leader Azam Khan in Ganj police station under various sections including robbery, theft, assault, in the name of evacuating the colony.
The verdict has been given in three of these cases. The SP leader has been acquitted in two cases, while in one case the SP leader has been sentenced to seven years imprisonment. The SP leader is currently lodged in Sitapur jail.
In this case, the court has convicted Azam Khan and the contractor on Wednesday. The court will pronounce the sentence on SP leader Azam Khan and contractor Barkat Ali in this case tomorrow.
what is the matter
Dungarpur resident Abrar Hussain had lodged a report in Ganj police station on August 13, 2019, in which he had alleged that the then CO Ale Hasan, Inspector Firoz Khan, contractor Barkat Ali, C&DS JE Parvez Alam reached the colony on the morning of December 6, 2016 and asked him to vacate the house.
It is alleged that Inspector Feroz also fired. He also looted his washing machine, gold, silver and five thousand rupees. During the investigation, the name of SP leader Azam Khan was also included. In this case, there are also allegations of murderous attack and robbery.
